Upcoming Events for the Elwood Steelcats – Let’s Rally Together!
Dear Steelcats Families,
We’ve got a busy and exciting September ahead, and we’d love your help and participation in three important events that support our organization and bring our community together!
🌿 1. Planting Day – Saturday, September 6th | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
We’re beautifying the berm outside Field 4, and Allied Nursery has generously donated a large number of plants to help us do it!
We need volunteers to help get everything in the ground—whether you can spare an hour or stay the whole morning, your help will make a big difference.
🎟️ 2. Split the Pot Fundraiser – Friday, September 12th | 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
During the Elwood Days Festival, we’ll be walking around selling Split the Pot tickets to raise funds for the Steelcats Association.
We receive 50% of all ticket sales, so the more we sell, the more we support our teams.
Bring your energy and team spirit!
🎉 3. Elwood Days Parade – Saturday, September 13th | Lineup at 10:30 AM
We’re proud to be walking in the parade again this year!
- Younger players are welcome to ride on our float
- Older players can walk alongside and represent the Steelcats with pride
Please have players wear their jerseys and arrive by 10:30 AM for lineup.
